Background:
Sean was admitted to practice as a barrister in England and Wales in 1987. Sean emigrated to Western Australia in 1990 after 18 months at the Bar and 1 year’s practice with a London law firm.
Sean joined Pynt & Partners in 2001 as a Senior Solicitor after 11 years with the Perth commercial firm Chalmers & Partners. He has been a partner in the firm since 1 July 2008.
Prior to 2001, Sean practiced predominately in commercial litigation with a heavy emphasis on real property related matters. Sean also provided advice to corporate and commercial clients, including Public Companies, on a wide range of property and corporate issues including compliance.
Since joining Pynt & Partners, Sean has managed a varied caseload, including professional indemnity (lawyers, engineers, real estate agents and valuers), employer’s liability, public and product liability and sickness and accident policies.
Sean acts as both Solicitor and Counsel, with frequent advocacy in the District and Supreme Courts of Western Australia, including trials.
